Ben Dawson is a "Vancouver" based cinematographer.
"My cinematography is a blend of documentary tradition and heightened naturalism which comes from my love of street photography. I explore narratives to find the most truthful portrayal of the environment in relation to the story."
It is acknowledged that Ben Dawson works and resides on the unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the Coast Salish peoples including the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.
